The research activities of the team include:
- development and applications of X-ray fluorescence technique for assessment and monitoring of environmental pollution,
- sampling air particulate matter (PM),
- elemental analysis of PM by X-ray fluorescence technique,
- determination of equivalent black carbon by multi-wavelength absorption black carbon instrument (MABI),
- identifying of sources of PM by receptor modelling (PMF, PCA),
- determination of sources' contribution to PM mass,
- speciation of elements in PM by XANES,
- non-destructive determination of elements objects of cultural heritage by X ray fluorescence technique.
